Year Round Garden Lectures:
Based on my latest book, The Complete Kitchen Garden, I offer garden lectures to show gardeners how to simplify their vegetable garden designs and have more fun. Through stunning photographs and stories, participants will encounter a range of garden styles, from the backyard vegetable garden to the European kitchen garden and be inspired to design their garden with color and simple elegance and decide what to plant for ultimate flavor, all based on your own tastes and interests.
Fees are negotiable depending on the event and venue, ranging from $250 for a local lecture to $1500 for keynotes and overnight events.

For Cooks who Love to Garden: Summer Classes
Spend the day in my Vermont kitchen garden, cooking and learning about the art of growing food. We’ll spend a luxurious, information packed day cooking a simple, elegant lunch in my kitchen and learning about how to design a kitchen garden to fit your lifestyle. You’ll see my small .24 acre packed with beautiful gardens, bees, compost piles and a tool shed, plus we’ll tour a local permaculture garden and other gardens to give you practical ideas to take home.
