Ellen Ecker Ogden co-founded The Cook's Garden seed catalog, and is a freelance food and garden writer, garden designer and cookbook author. Ellen trained with Marcella Hazen in Venice, Italy and Darina Allen at Ballymaloe School in Ireland.
Articles and features about Ellen's gardens have appeared in The New York Times, Boston Sunday Globe, Eating Well Magazine, Vermont Life, Vermont Magazine, Vermont Sunday Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, Organic Gardening, Martha Stewart Living, and Horticulture.
Media trained with the Lisa Ekus Group, Ellen has appeared on PBS-Victory Garden, HGTV- TV and as a speaker at the Cincinnati Flower Show, The Boston Flower Show and the Vermont Flower Show, among others.
